Laid Back Beach Wedding

Midwesterners Cassie and Jacob wanted a beachfront destination celebration, and found their dream place on sandy beaches with their Alys Beach, Florida marriage. Cassie wore dress inspired. We wanted our guests to look like they were on holiday, so we chose a place that we hoped they’d enjoy.
For us, spending a week close to a shore seemed heavenly, so we opted for a destination marriage in Alys Beach in Northern Florida. Throughout the service we read them loudly to one another, every sealing the contract with our words. Your ceremony in 3 words. Genuine, simple, and family. Who officiated your ceremony? My husbands mother was our officiant. We chose her because of her capability to write beautifully and talk to a crowd. She shared our religious thoughts, and it was a true gift to us when she admitted. Together, we built the service and the readings to reflect our future and past.
What was your ceremony music? The maid of honor along with that the best man walked down that the aisle into Sea of Love by Cat Power, along with my dad along with I to Blackbird by The Beatles. What was your favored thing about your wedding ceremony? The bride said, My favored moment of the service was walking down the aisle together with my father, observing all the visitors and the beautiful scenery. There was so much love on that shore. The groom said, My favored moment was seeing Cassie come down that the aisle. Clich, I know, but being on an open beach, I’d into intentionally turn away as she approached.
Time froze and I felt weightless. What advice do you’ve for other couples in that the midst of organising a wedding? Dont worry about what you have heard weddings are supposed to be. This day is for you, your future husband, along with your closest family and friends. Try into infuse as much of your character as you can into the party its a choice you cannot regret! – The Reception – Our biggest inspiration for our reception was the environment. We wanted our marriage to be easy, stress free along with fun, together with a concentrate on enjoying that the simple things in life. Our guests have traveled a considerable way, so we wanted them to seem like they were on a memorable holiday.
How would you describe your reception? An outdoor dinner party together with our closest friends and family, encompassed by beautiful scenery, amazing music, along with good food. Why did you chose this location for your reception? We wanted an outdoor reception that would feel like a laid back dinner party, so we rented out Fonville Press, a lovely coffee & ice cream shop with a large covered patio.
